Don, It's Jeremy. with the Red 3k Vr4. I came down to your shop and was looking for you to gimme a price on the injectors, fuel pump, and a couple of other mods. I stopped by just before Thanksgiving. (ironic as it was at the time you were working on another 3k Vr4 with a trashed motor and a vr4 galant with no compression) You were going out of town and asked me to write down my info. So like I said earlier, I had the fuel crap tightened up earlier over at T..NDZ on evans. I am still loooking to upgrade the turbo and possibly do some intercooler work though. I do have a question as to what is the best way to upgrade the intercoolers and turbo. i have been looking and it sounds like a select group are stating that i should isolate each turbo with its own intercooler? and others say i can go with the big front upgrade. the only issue i have is that im trying to keep the body very clean and not do any customizing to the body just to keep it a sleeper and not draw too much attention to the car. For the turbos i was looking at three options. 1 the greddy 13g upgrade, 2 the tdo4 Jpn HSK upgrade, and 3... some mitsu fab shop in North Carolina is taking the tdo4 and boring the shell and putting a .6 bored turbine in to allow the turbo to spool up to 23lbs on their level II and 27lbs on the level III. everyone is sitting around 2k for parts. what are my options? your time frame? If my car will hold with the stock seals i would like to maximize the hp and keep it right at 500 and then possibly start with a 50 shot and work my way up to see if i can hold 150. I have a buddy who is runnng 10.41 (140.5mph qm at bandi) on a 3k Vr4 with a 150 shot nos direct. it has same exh work, but with greddy dsm (INSTEAD OF SAFC), engine stabilizing (motor mounts so forth) and carbon hood. I figure if I can upgrade the turbo and run a shot i can sit right in there... Im after tens and in the high elevens to mid twelves depending on my whole shot. Jeremy! I tried getting ahold of you but I had misplaced your number. I apologize for not being able to get ahold of you since I could have saved you a lot of money. At any rate, I can definitely help you with your goals, but you should really swing by the shop when you have time and I can go over a lot of the turbo/intercooler options with you.
