I see all the newbies at the new races, and what makes me angry is they are not even racing. I remember the good old days at 7-eleven when we would race till the sun goes up. Now thats backroad racing. Damn new kids that have all these money doesnt even know how to race or to organize a street race. AMATEURS!!!
dont know why im posting this, but it helps the forums.

Not all the streetraces are like that now. You just have to know the right set up people to get you involved in the right scene.

I suggest then you should start calling out cars at the street races while your there. Which races are you going to? Alameda? Wadsworth? Broadway? Hampden? There are certain groups that do run all night long. I betcha they don't race as long as they used to because of gas prices too.

just wait till you actually start filling up with 91 or higher gas. It gets expensive. Dosn't sound like a ricer excuse to me at all.

From personal experience I can tell you that before APD decided to throw me in jail for street racing, (btw... running 120 down Hampden in a 40 yeah ummm not so smart) they impound my car, I ended up getting an 18 point ticket, a $350 dollar fine, I had to take a mandatory driving class, paying $250 bucks, spent three days in court, one night in jail, and paid an attorney $600 to save me from losing my license for 6 months, which I lost for 30 days instead. Oh and did I mention I had to pay another $60 to get reinstated , whoops, I also think I forgot to mention the impound fee was $200 bucks plus the tow truck of which was $75 because when I went to pick up my car, yeah the officer took my license and I couldn't drive out. So to a certain extent I can say the race and the anhiliation (btw. well over 3 car lengths fuck yea!) of two civics and a prelude was Priceless! On the otherhand, if you think dealing with all that bullshit is worth the props, go for it. I'd say if the kid doesn't want to run, it's probably because he's smart enough to know he can't afford it. No offense but I remember the old days and that was quite some time ago and although you can be reminded, those times and that scene played out a long time ago. Back in the day I would've just been cited and smacked on the hand. Now, Jonny Law don play bro, too many cops (the assholes that we picked on in H.S. with a fuckin power trip) and too much technology. Now if were talkin about a steath capable vehicle here, then shit bro, I'm all ears. I see all the newbies at the new races, and what makes me angry is they are not even racing. I want to go race! (once my car is able to) lol Where are these races? I have only ben in denver for about a year now. I love racing, Even if i loose its still mad fun. There has to be some places out side of the city in the middle of nowhere that people can race without worring about cops.
